For all those faithful Metallica fans out there, sorry to throw you; I just thought the title was fitting for my next bit. Consider, you're that perfect age, with that perfect someone; everyone around you is as perfect as a collage of ex lovers, friends, ones we claim as friends (for posteriety I ask?), in-laws, which are more like barncreatures(fortunately not in the Clair family), et cetra, get me.. This is a wedding-- and the bell is tolling for you and that perfect person.

Keep this above in your head, now consider in many Tribal communities, when a man is courting a woman and they decide marriage is the way to go, the man must save up massive amounts of money in order to literally purchase his wife, that is in tribal systems every member of the family is important for work, (especially woman obviously for bearing children, and nursing children); In-order to ease the leaving of the daughter, and pay for the work lost this husband pays a wife price.

Alright, Again, with both of these consider what we are brain washed to believe!

What's the American Wife price?
Diamonds, blood diamonds(this will be reserved for another time) but Diamonds, isn't the addage(and I hate to call it that) but yes addage 'a diamond is forever'. They'll have you believe that; Christianity says buy the ring it's a symbol of Eternal love, but when was love not enough? Instead, each, the Husband and Wife pay 5k+ for their rings, because we're told it's needed.

I'm not being overly cheap, just being observant, whoever I marry best believe she'll wear a big diamond(if my broke ass can afford it anyways ha) because a) she took me in, which makes her a saint most likely, b) I'm a product of "A diamond is forever" control.. Even though I see it, I cannot stop it.
